Benign
Prostate Hypertrophy (BPH) Study
A randomized double blind placebo controlled, four arm study
to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Tolterodine ER and
Tamsulosin taken together in men who have frequency and urgency
of urine.
Participants must be male, 40 years or older, and have frequency
and urgency of urine.
Prostate cancer is an exclusion.

Osteoporosis
with Prostate Cancer Study
A double blind placebo controlled study to evaluate AMG 162
in the treatment of bone loss in patients undergoing androgen
deprivation therapy without metastatic disease.
Male patients 70 or older with prostate cancer.
Male patients less than 70 with prostate cancer and a history
of osteoporotic
fracture.
Must be on or planning to start androgen deprivation therapy
for at least 12
months or have had a bilateral orchiectomy.
Metastatic disease is an exclusion.

Interstitial
Cystitis Study
A double blind placebo controlled study to evaluate the
efficacy and tolerability of two different doses of elmiron
for the treatment of interstitial cystitis.
Males and Females 18 or older with interstitial cystitis (bladder
pain, urinary urgency and urinary frequency).
Patients can not be on antidepressants, antihistamines or
prescription pain relievers.
Patients can not have fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome,
chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic back Pain, or osteoarthritis.

Hormone
Refractory Prostate Cancer Study
A phase III
trial of immunotherapy with autologous antigen presenting
cells loaded with prostate antigen in patients with metastatic
androgen independent prostate cancer.
Patients must be males with metastatic prostate cancer and
currently be on androgen deprivation therapy.
PSA must be greater than 5.0 for two consecutive readings.
Gleason score must be less than or equal to 7.
No pain of any kind for which patient needs prescription pain
relievers or disease related pain.

Minimally
Invasive BPH Treatment Study
A clinical
trial to evaluate the efficacy of adjuvant dutasteride in
Transurethral Needle Ablation (TUNA) in men with large prostates.
Men 55 or older with significant lower urinary tract symptoms.
Men can not have a history of prostate or bladder cancer.
Neurogenic bladder dysfunction and prior prostate surgery
are exclusions.

Minimally Invasive
BPH Treatment Study 2
A phase II
mulitcenter, randomized, 3 dose level, parallel group, double-blind
clinical evaluation of NX-1207 for the treatment of benign
prostatic hyperplasia.
For men aged 45 to 65 with lower urinary tract symptoms.
Must have an enlarged prostate.
Patient can not have prostate cancer or take anticoagulant
medications.
