Robotic Surgery Schedule

I found a way to place my robotic surgery schedule online.

I do not add my operations in advance that far ahead, but it is usually accurate for the upcoming 2 weeks. Urologists interesting in case observations can contact me to watch surgery.

I was wondering what kind of training and stuff do u have to have to do robotic surgery. I am doing a presentation on the daVinci but I haven't found any requirements or skills needed to do robotic surgery. I'm sure not just any doctor or surgeon can do it.

The main thing that helps is a very good understanding of the anatomy. Most of my knowledge in this area came from open surgery.

Understanding laparoscopy helps immensely since the port placement is identical.

The part that is difficult at that point is developing a comfort level where you can see things better, but can not touch things. Also not being right next to the patient can be anxiety producing.

Good luck on your talk.
